Looking for startup funding? Thinking about an SBIR or STTR? Come learn from experienced academic investigators how to craft a well written proposal. We will cover the basics of the SBIR and STTR, how these grants are different from a typical R01, commercialization plans, submission and review process, and finally some pearls of wisdom from previous award winners.

This session a unique opportunity to engage with early-stage portfolio companies actively seeking funding. This invitation extends to not only Keiretsu Forum members but also angel investors from over 35 affiliated groups with whom we have established syndication treaties. 

This monthly virtual meeting will feature 5 to 10-minute updates from four to five portfolio companies, followed by a short Q&A session and separate deep-dive breakout rooms for further discussion.

Money is obviously an important element to the success of a company. Often overlooked is the value of the people in and surrounding a start-up. This seminar will cover why people matter so much to a start-up and how to surround the start-up with the ones that will give it the best chance to succeed.
