I2P Showcase: Spring 2026

The I2P Showcase is a campus‑wide exhibition featuring Georgia Tech students who have spent the semester transforming invention ideas into working prototypes. Hosted by CREATE‑X, the showcase gives attendees the opportunity to engage directly with student teams, explore real‑world applications of their work, and learn more about the Idea to Prototype (I2P) experience. The event is free and open to the public, with awards announced at the conclusion of the showcase.

The I2P Showcase celebrates student innovation emerging from Georgia Tech’s Idea to Prototype (I2P) program, a semester‑long course where interdisciplinary teams turn early‑stage ideas into functional products. At the showcase, student inventors from across campus present prototypes designed to address real‑world challenges, sharing both their technical solutions and development process. Teams participating in I2P receive faculty mentorship, financial support for prototyping, and academic credit as they advance their ideas toward viable products. The showcase offers attendees the opportunity to interact with student teams, see prototypes up close, and learn more about pathways for invention, research, and entrepreneurship at Georgia Tech. Awards will be presented to top projects at the end of the event. The showcase is hosted by CREATE‑X and is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.
