CREATE-X, in collaboration with Quadrant-i, is offering a specialized program tailored for Georgia Tech faculty and graduate students aiming to commercialize research. Over a 12-week period, participants in this special section of the CREATE-X summer accelerator, Startup Launch, receive comprehensive support to transition their research into viable market solutions.

Join Female Founders for their first speaker event of the fall semester to get insight on building a business. Bryanna Marshall is the founder and CEO of Thanks Rose, a company dedicated to improving maternal outcomes, providing credible resources to families, and ensuring proactive care is the standard. She was featured in Atlanta’s Inno Under 25 in 2022 and is also a former Female Founder program alumna!

John Gattuso, co-founder of FIXD Automotive, and Kolby Hanley, founder of UltraView Archery, were recently recognized for giving back to CREATE-X through the Georgia Tech Founder’s Pledge. Gattuso and Hanley were acknowledged at the Startup Launch kickoff, held May 17 in the Marcus Nanotechnology Building atrium.

CREATE-X has extended the deadline to submit applications for the summer 2022 Startup Launch program until Monday, April 11.
Georgia Tech students and alumni are being given an additional opportunity to join an elite group of founders who have explored taking their ideas forward through Startup Launch, a summer accelerator where participants spend 12 weeks launching their projects from idea stage (or beyond) into fully functioning and viable startups. Teams who submitted their application by the initial deadline will receive priority to have their interviews scheduled first.

Your team will receive $5,000 in seed funding to take your idea to market. The funding will enable you to take advantage of new possibilities and accelerate growth.

Applications are currently being accepted on a rolling basis (first come, first served). Deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Startup Launch provides:

On Monday, December 6, CREATE-X will host the fall 2021 Idea to Prototype (I2P) Showcase in the Marcus Nanotechnology Building atrium from 5 to 7 p.m. At the showcase, student inventors across campus will present over 30 functional prototypes with application to real-world problems. The event is free and open to the public.
